Kara Marie Baxter

Kara Marie, originally from Detroit, MI, but now living in Los Angeles, CA, is an American singer and songwriter. Growing up in a family full of musicians and singers, Kara began singing in church at an early age. Later, she began writing while attending Oakwood University, an HBCU, and singing as a member of the world-renowned Aeolians. After taking a break from music to pursue a Juris Doctorate from Wayne State University Law School and start a family, Kara has now taken the dive back into music, this time as both an artist and as a writer and vocalist for television and film.
