Mary Sette

Mary is a comedy writer/director and cartoonist living in Los Angeles. She is a recent MFA graduate of USC's John Wells Division of Writing for Screen and Television. Her scripts have been short-listed by Sundance Institute, Hedgebrook Screenwriting Lab, Austin Film Festival, and many more. In 2019, Mary was a finalist in the CalArts Animation Residency program where she studied 2D animation and character design. Her cartoons have been featured in WhoHaHa, Slackjaw, Voyage LA Magazine, Silent Auctions Magazine, San Diego Zine Fest, and Pomona Zine Fest. Mary is originally from a small farm town in New Jersey known for its meatballs and regret. She is full of regret.
