Samar Salam

Samar Salam is an Indian film director and cinematographer. In 2017, he made his directorial debut with the film, The Ides of Childhood. The film was World Premiered in the USA and won an award for Best Feature at the Ridgefield Independent Film Festival. Born in Calcutta on December 24, 1991, he had his early education in St. Xavier's Collegiate School, Calcutta followed by majoring in Communication and Videography at St. Xavier's College. After receiving his bachelor's degree, he moved to Prague, Czech Republic for higher studies where he also worked on the post-production of The Ides of Childhood (2017) Salam currently resides in Mumbai, India
