Pooja Khatri (born 2 August 1980) is a very beautiful and adorable Indian TV actress. She is well-known for the acting that she has done in the television industry till date. She completed her schooling in her native place itself. Right from her childhood, she used to take initiative and participate in many competitions, especially in drama candidacies. She enjoyed participating in such events. She has also won many prizes in the same. This interest pushed her to pursue modelling. She started modelling when she was still in college. Eventually a TV producer noticed her and gave her an opportunity to work with him. This how her acting career started. Within few days the screening test was also done and she was taken as one of the characters in the show. She was really very glad to receive such an opportunity. She is very passionate about her work and future plans. Soon she got a contingency to work with Sony Entertainment. She was overwhelmed to get such an opportunity in a short span. The show she got was nothing but C.I.D. in the year 2014. C.I.D.is a crime-thriller series where a team of C.I.D. (Central Bureau of Investigation) solves criminal cases. Among them, Pooja was also one who was given a chance to act and to explore her talent. She played the character of sub-inspector Ishita. She took it as a dare and started working on it. Very soon she was appreciated by the crew and the audience. She has also acted in Telugu and Tamil industries. She always tries to justify her role totally, whatever character it may be. She loves to interact with people. After working on C.I.D., she got another TV show named "Ichapyari Nagin", which used to air on Sab TV.The audiences loved her in this show and appreciated her acting skills. She portrayed the character of Devi Kalindi in "Mahabali Hanuman" on Sony TV. It is a mythological series based on the life story of Lord Hanuman. It very popular among the audiences. This was just another chance for her to prove her endowment, flair, and acting skills. She is the daughter of Raman Khatri and paternal niece of Govind Khatri.
