Gian Shines is an editor, producer, writer, and actor also skilled at martial arts-stunts, and music. He showed passion for the entertainment industry since he was a kid, and henceforth when a teenager, he created and coordinated school plays and performed on events. Since younger, he was on commercials, prints, and plays; including a play at the National Theater of his country of origin where he played the Steadfast Tin Soldier. Gian Shines came to the United States to pursue his dream of learning the craft to create outstanding projects and acting. Prior to graduating from the colleges he attended, he was already acting on short films and working on television shows doing production work and journalism. In 2017, he wrote and directed a play where he also played the lead. In 2018, he won an acting competition hosted by the illustrious Ulysses Terrero, and judged by the outstanding actor Luis Guzmán, Cemi Guzmán, Danny Minnick, and Tuffy Questell. In 2019, the Bronx Hispanic Chamber of Commerce awarded Gian Shines the 'Leadership Award' "For Your Contributions to the Community." In 2022, he has received a certificate of recognition from the mayor of Los Angeles, Eric Garcetti for "His commitment to connecting and celebrating the multicultural creative community." Gian Shines has worn many hats such as production assistant, boom operator, and composer; nonetheless, he regularly performs the jobs of writer/content creator, producer, D.P., actor, and editor.
