Barnabas Valley

Barnabas Valley is an chilean independent film director, screenwriter, producer, cameraman and photographer. Born in Punta Arenas (Chile) in 1977, Valley developed an interest in filmmaking in his early teens but first he studied TV Production and worked as a cameraman and editor. Between 2002 and 2010 Barnabas started to write and prepare ideas with friends and began making short films and digital movies in spanish-language, some of them were also aired on a local TV Station. He moved with his wife to Austria in 2014. That year he started to produce his first independent movie "Der Klang der Stille" in another culture, land and language. In collaboration with many austrian actors and musicians like Bird in Trees, Franky Berroa, Gernot Blümel and the composer Marcos Bolaños resulted a interesting movie made with passion.
