Despite her young age, Josefine is a rising star and a rare talent. From the age of 5, she has been acting and starring in several commercials for all the biggest kids' stores and brands in Denmark (Nespresso, Fætter BR). During her childhood, she went to an American School in Warsaw, Poland, resulting in a perfect American English accent. She started her career at 'Eventyr Teateret', which is the best theater school for children in Denmark. She has been educating herself in Denmark at the highest level schools and programs, learning various techniques from method acting to her attending The Stella Adler program in New York. Her TV debut was in the popular comedy show "Grand Danois" on Danish national TV, where she had one of the lead supporting roles. She had one of the leading roles in the Danish family comedy 'Far til Fire', which premiered in 2017 and is one of the most popular and legendary series of family films ever being made in Denmark. She has made campaign films and commercials for Danish and American companies and has played in numerous short films for all the biggest production schools in Denmark and she had one of the leading roles in the Norwegian drama pilot series "Min Side". Her first international film was "The Devil Has A Name", where she played alongside Kate Bosworth, Haley Joel Osment, David Strathairn and Martin Sheen directed by Edward James Olmos. Last year she was in Bangladesh shooting an international feature "Dare To Surf", portraying the role of "Esther", which premiered November (2019) - a film about women empowerment, which shines light on women's rights in Bangladesh and India. This past summer (2019), Josefine played the role of "Bernadette", alongside Robert De Niro, Morgan Freeman, Tommy Lee Jones and Zach Braff in George Gallos film "The Comeback Trail", which will premiere on November 13th, 2020. This past summer she has been in Denmark under covid-19 lock down where she has co-written, created, directed and starred in her own short film "SILENCE". In august she played one of the two female leads (Rose) of the upcoming indie feature film "Chakra" from highly acclaimed director Kasper Juhl (Moonfire). Josefine is currently in pre-production on her latest film "Lonesome Soldier" where she portrays the second female lead "Christy". Josefine is living in Los Angeles (0-1 VISA), educating herself to nurture her craft even more. There is truly no limit to Josefine's ambitions and dreams. Josefine is a member of the New Generation (NG) program, and she starred in DR3's documentary about 5 of the young rising stars in NG. The program aired on Danish national television in early 2017.
