Trace De La Torre is an Executive and Film Producer known for Award Winning Horror Short Film "Lullaby" from Director Dale Fabrigar and Random House Published Author, Marc Paoletti. Trace began her media career at Warner Bros. Studios in 1999 under the visionary leadership of Warren Lieberfarb, widely regarded as "The Father of the DVD" at Warner Home Video. This was a fortuitous juncture which saw the studio produce some of its most iconic film franchises such as, "The Matrix", "Harry Potter", and "The Lord of the Rings". Eventually Trace moved on to Warner Bros. Television ushering the birth of iconic television franchises "Two-and-a-Half Men", "The Ellen DeGeneres Show", and "The Big Bang Theory", among others from that era under the leadership of Ken Werner. After 10 years with the studio Trace accepted a London-based position at Velica Comics UK created by American illustrator Ken Johnson. Published as "Velica Digital Comics" with distribution via iTunes/Amazon, "Velica" is a gritty female vigilante Comic Book series akin to films "Sin City" (2005) starring Bruce Willis, and "The Spirit" (2008) starring Gabriel Macht. As Vice-President of Sales, Marketing and Distribution, Trace negotiated printing and secured limited distribution of "Velica" #3 and #4, issues specifically. Coupled with two sold-out printings each, "Velica" graced the shelves of some of the most iconic Comic Book Houses in London such as GOTCHA!, Orbital, Mega City, the now defunct Comicana, and Forbidden Planet. In 2010 Trace founded Trace Entertainment LLC, an independent production company encompassing Art, E-Publishing, Film, and AR/VR content. By 2013 in association with Orange Mangrove Publishing UK, Trace published four Paranormal Romance Novellas via Amazon. Written by British author James D. Layton, these Novellas include "Letters to an Angel", "Sisters of Absinthe: The Velveteen Girl", "Sisters of Absinthe: Jack Sutherland", and "Sisters of Absinthe: The Green Lamp". In 2016, Trace stepped into filmmaking with her first Horror Short Film "Luna". In July 2017, she served as Executive Producer on AT&T/Warner SHAPE competition finalist, "The Protégé". In Fall 2017, Trace teamed up with Director Dale Fabrigar as Executive Producer on his Horror Short Film "Lullaby". Completed in October 2017, "Lullaby" won multiple film awards and was chosen as an Official Selection at the Bentonville Film Festival in April 2018. In May 2018, Trace worked as Associate Producer on her first Feature Film "D-Railed" starring Lance Henriksen from the Alien film franchise and Award Winning Dutch Actor Frank Lammers. Production completed in September 2018. "D-Railed" is a Suspense Thriller from esteemed Producer Suzanne DeLaurentiis and multiple Award Winning Director Dale Fabrigar. It screened in Los Angeles September 30th, Philadelphia October 7th, making the rounds at the 2018 American Film Market in Santa Monica. "D-Railed" was an Official Selection of the 2018 New York City Horror Film Festival and made its Red Carpet Premiere on December 1st at The Tribeca Film Center in Manhattan. As of June 2019, "D-Railed" has earned over 39 Film Awards, 14+ nominations, and will be released on August 6, 2019 on various platforms including Retail Direct. In June 2019, Trace started production on Psychological Thriller, "Todd" starring Hans Hernke ("Attack of the Unknown") & Michael Winslow ( "Police Academy", "Spaceballs") in Orlando, Florida. Completed in August 2019, "Todd" is in post production set for release in late 2020. In November 2019, Trace teamed up with Indonesian Film Producer-Director Benny Tjandra and Writer-Director Doug Tochioka as Executive Producer on their female-led Action film, "Lady Spetsnaz"/ "Huntress". Inspired by Lyudmilla Pavilchenko - the world's deadliest female sniper - the film stars Russian actress Tatiana Neva, Russian Actor and Martial Artist Gray Michael Sallies, with legendary Martial Artist-Actress Cynthia Rothrock. Widely known as "The Dragon Lady", Cynthia Rothrock is the first woman to be inducted into the Martial Arts Hall of Fame and has 30+ films under her belt. Production will complete in September 2020 with a 2021 release. Trace is currently developing several projects, including a Sci-Fi Thriller akin to Marc Forster's "World War Z" (2013) and Danny Boyle's "28 Days Later (2002) ", as well as a Crime Drama Mystery akin to "Lucky Number Slevin" and "Oceans 8" with strong female leads. Trace lives and works in Los Angeles, Mexico City, and London.
