Michelle Douglas

Michelle Douglas is a Melbourne based filmmaker. Michelle's credits include the short films The Dog Eaters, Sometimes, Always and Ginger (all as writer/director/producer). Sometimes, Always was a semi-finalist at the 2017 Sydney Indie Film Festival, and an Official Selection in the Cardiff Mini Film Festival 2018. 'Ginger ' was an official selection for the 2019 Geelong Pride Film Festival and the 2020 Melbourne Indie Film Festival. Michelle's latest completed project, the short film 'Bad Lesbian', was an official selection for the 2020 St Kilda Film Festival, and the 2021 Perth Pride Film Festival and the Geelong Pride Film Festival. Both films , 'Ginger' and 'Bad Lesbian' are still in consideration on the film festival circuit. In 2020/2021 Michelle commenced development / pre-production on a six part musical comedy series, written during 2020.
