Mickey Puglisi

Mickey is a skillful and charismatic artist working in the film and television industry. From as young as 5 years old he found interest in the wonders of post production and would often binge the special features discs more often than the films they came with. He grew up honing the techniques of cinematography, editing, graphic design and motion graphics which all provided him magnitudes of freelance work. Mickey went on to top his film and media classes through high school whilst winning the awards for College Culture, College Creativity and the Long Tan Youth award for outstanding leadership and teamwork. Following high school, he was accepted into the 'Australian Film Television and Radio School' where he studied a 3 year Bachelor of Screen Production motivating him to specialize in Writing, Directing and Editing. The first professional job he received out of university took him back to his childhood post production roots where he began mastering the art of color grading on various 'ABC' programs and Channel 7's 'Home and Away'. He then took on the challenge of learning 2D and 3D animation to land himself positions in animation and compositing on BBC's 'Doctor Who'. While doing so he worked as a writer and editor for an AVOD piece on 'Cartoon Network', and most recently ran point as the lead editor on 'More Than This' a TV drama series soon to be released on Paramount+. Mickey continues to work and thrive in the industry out of Sydney, Australia.
