Aurora Adams is a London-based actor/physical performer, puppeteer, voice over actor (with home studio), writer and director. Represented by Second Skin Agency. With a degree in English Literature and Film from the University of Sussex, Aurora studied filmmaking at the London Film Academy, editing at the Met Film School, and trained in puppetry at the famous Little Angel Theatre. Since 2014 she has enjoyed puppeteering in many different productions, both stage and screen. As well as working as a freelance performer, Aurora also creates her own puppet films. In March 2017 Aurora wrote, directed and puppeteered in her first puppetry short film 'The Fishsticks', which was screened at the 2018 'Shortstack: Puppets on Film' festival by BAMKids/Jim Henson Foundation in New York. Aurora's puppet sketch 'Gloves Off', created in March 2020 at the start of Lockdown, was screened in the Lift-Off Network's 'Sessions' online festival. In July 2020 Aurora did an interview with Authority Magazine/Thrive Global, speaking about her work and how to maintain focus and balance as a performer in these strange times. Aurora's latest short film is a paper puppet noir called 'Tracks', which was created for the Bristol 48Hour Puppet Film Festival, and the three minute trailer version was screened as part of the festival in September 2020. After being submitted to festivals the full length short film will be released along with Aurora's other work on to Aurora's Youtube channel. In autumn 2020 Aurora will puppeteer and direct her fourth short puppetry film 'Fragile'.
