Billy Chester

Director and writer Billy Chester was born on August 15, 1990 in Detroit, Michigan, the son of Lonnie Chester junior, an auto worker, and Christina Chester. He gained interest in film at an early age, recording with his parents VHS tapes wherever he went before saving up money to buy his own camera at 13. Following his high school graduation he moved to the east coast and pursued commercial work and various film projects and later Europe. It wasn't until his late 20's that he focused on his own arts as a career, after he directed and wrote his first short film in 2019.
