Laura Butler Rivera is an international actor, director, and choreographer. She has performed, offered theater workshops, and taught in Turkey, Berlin, Japan, Lithuania, Romania, Italy, US, Australia, Colombia, & Puerto Rico. She wrote and stars in the short film Manzana, produced by black Box Productions NYC, an Inwood Film Festival and New York Short Film Tuesdays 2018 selection. She is an Artistic Director and performer of One-Eighth Theater (The Maids, Teach, Teacher, Teachest, UBU, The Proposal, & Cho H Cho developed at Mabou Mines), a member of CABORCA (The Entitlement -a Feature Film, Hamlet, Zoetrope, Open Up Hadrian), and a co-founder of Cloud of Fools Theater Company (Dark Eyes, The Whistling Mortician and EUROPA). She has choreographed for M-34 (All That Dies And Rises and Hymn To Life). She holds an MFA in Acting from Columbia University, and a BA in Drama from the University of Puerto Rico.
