Adam Joseph Gazdag was born in Farmington Hills, Michigan. His father, David Gazdag Sr. is a Welder Repairman for Ford Motor Company. His mother, Laura was seldom in her appearance is Adam's life. She left the family when Adam was 3 and then later died of unknown causes when he was 15. Adam is the youngest of three children: he has a brother David Jr, and another brother Ryan. After the divorce, Adam's father moved his family to Brighton, Michigan where Adam developed a sense of bipolar and severe depression due to continuous abuse from his new stepmother, Julie. Having severe back issues, Julie was unable to work and looked after the home while David Sr. was away at work. Julie often kept Adam grounded to his room for random reasons, this caused him to develop the name "Slim Smelly" from his peers at school. Finding it easier to rebel against his parents then attempt to follow rules, Adam fell into drug use and trespassing for skateboarding. At the age of 14, Adam was caught skateboarding in an abandoned school by police and was ordered to attend a boarding school in Puerto Rico until the age of 18. After graduating from school, Adam was homeless. He lived in various houses and shelters in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico until he moved in with his grandparents. At 18, Adam finished high school, graduating in the top 10 of his class. He excelled in Mathematics, Physics, and Drama at Rhea County High School and later attempted to attend college, but fell short due to lack of money. Seeing his life spiraling downward, Adam enlisted into the United States Marine Corps where he spent fourteen months until he was released with a medical discharge for depression. Adam didn't start acting until he was 22. He lived in Virginia with a friend and girlfriend where he found a classwork post on Craigslist for a small YouTube series named "Political Child's Play". Adam auditioned for the part just out of boredom. He was later notified that he had received the lead part of George Tompson and the fascination struck. After filming the several-part series, Adam again found himself getting involved in film. He was cast as an extra in the Civil War-based film "Lincoln" where he played a Union soldier in Petersburg, Virginia. A year afterwards, Adam found himself now-single and out of money. He moved back in with his father in 2013 and has been there ever since. He has been accepted in the role of Travis in a pilot of the upcoming show "Lessons Learned", a security officer in "Electron Blade" and Joe in "Dark Lies".
