Tamara Barnes is an up and coming actress ready to make her mark in the film industry. Born and raised in Alberta Canada, Tamara discovered a passion for modeling, acting and writing as a teen. She participated in many school theater productions and community events where her natural talent and passion for storytelling shone though. Despite her passion, the film industry in Alberta was not prevalent at the time and Tamara eventually chose to focus more on modeling and went to university to pursue a different career path. Fast forward to 2021 where Tamara now lives in SW Florida. Eager to resume her pursuit in the entertainment field, Tamara enrolled in many acting courses, most online due to the COVID19 pandemic. She has studied various acting techniques, voice training and screen presence. With unwavering determination, she has embarked on many auditions and embraced every opportunity to learn and grow as an artist. Her breakthrough came when she landed a supporting role in an independent film currently being submitted to film festivals in the USA. This early success opened doors for her leading to further opportunities in film and television. Known for her versatility and ability to immerse herself in diverse roles, Tamara brings a fresh perspective and authenticity to every character she portrays. Off-screen, Tamara tries to keep very busy. She is employed as a registered nurse, a master naturalist and is an avid storm chaser offering people storm chasing vacation tours in the Spring. Tamara is a strong advocate for animals and the environment and has set up and managed non profit organizations that focus on protecting and conserving wildlife and the Earth. She believes in using her platform to shed light on important issues and strives to create positive change through her work and influence. With her undeniable dedication and passion for storytelling and art, Tamara is a rising star to watch out for! She is committed to every thing she does one hundred percent. Coupled with her natural talent and relatability, she is sure to have a future filled with exciting roles and memorable performances.
