Damir Zed (aka Damir Zharkimbekov) is a Los Angeles based actor, who graduated from the New York Film Academy (LA Campus) with a Bachelor's of Fine Arts degree in Acting for Film. There, he was trained by several established professionals, including members of the Actors Studio - Cathy Giannone, Bob Lipton - and Emmy-award nominee George McGrath. Some of Damir's recent works include leading roles in a comedic piece 'Just Go!' whose theme focuses on learning the true value of friendship, and a psychological drama 'The Institute,' where he plays an upscale intelligentsia with troubled past. Some of Damir Zed's stage credits include various roles in 'The Laramie Project' directed by Maria Gobetti, in which he plays a Tectonic Theater member and an interviewer Greg Pierotti, a Unitarian Church minister, and even a governor and a judge. He has also portrayed the role of a landscape architect Richard Noakes in Tom Stoppard's 'Arcadia' directed by Daniel Colt, and the role of Edmond in David Mamet's 'Edmond' directed by Cathy Giannone. Apart from acting, Damir Zed enjoys watching movies, reading books, playing real-life escape rooms, swimming, and spending time with family and friends in general.
