KB Kutz was born on Aug 25th 1986 in Toronto, Canada. In his senior of high school, he was ranked amongst the top 50 basketball players in the nation; this then provided him an opportunity to play at the collegiate level. He then received an athletic scholarship at the prestigious UBC (University of British Columbia) he studied Sociology and quickly went on to play professional basketball in the NBLC (National Basketball of Canada) for the Moncton Miracles. After a year of playing professionally, his love for the game diminished and the love for filmmaking began to emerge. At age 27, he began teaching himself about film, cameras, directing and editing. With no previous background, it was clear to see he was given a gift to make film as he began to be sought-after by many musicians, athletes, and businesses around North America. He is best known for the sport documentary, "The Honey Badger" where he wrote, edited, and directed the film, which took place in California and Mexico.
