Chance Fuerstinger was born in La Mesa, California. He has lived in Boise, Idaho since he was 9 years old. He started acting from a young age, and has performed in a number of local Boise theatre productions, as well as acting with River City Entertainment doing interactive murder mysteries and wild west melodramas. He studies acting under April Matson at Platform Boise, and has done several projects with her. He competed in Boise's Funniest Person 2016, a stand-up comedy competition held annually in Boise, Idaho, making it to the semi-final round before being eliminated. In 2018, he participated in the Will Act 4 Food short play competition, as a writer; his 10-minute play, "The Most Lamentable Love Life of Virginia Wilson" won both the Judges' Choice and Audience Choice Awards.
