Turkish writer and novelist who is best known for her book Pi. She is also known for appearing on a variety of different radio shows where she discusses writing. She graduated from Istanbul University with a degree in Communications. She then attended Ottawa University in Canada. She published her first book Fi and it was turned into an internet series. She was born and raised in Turkey. She married Sadok Kohen in 2001.
