Aris Eugene Rogers II was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Aris and Teresa (Harrison) Rogers. His first name which was passed to him from his father (of Greek descent) is of Greek origin meaning "god of war". While growing up Aris was a dual sport athlete playing football and wrestling, becoming an All-American Freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestler. The resilience and work ethic instilled in him over the years as an athlete has molded the way he approaches every aspect of life, especially in his craft as an actor. He is trained in scene study and improvisation by renowned acting coach Andi Matheny. Aris's recent film and television appearances include two episodes in season two of HBO TV series Ballers, Baywatch (2017), and The Door (2017).
