Lina Yakovlieva

Lina Yakovlieva was born in Chernovtsy, Ukraine and at the age of 16 moved to Canada. After graduating from high school she went to York University to study Law and Society, however, later changed her major to Public Relations and Management. While studying in schools she had always taken a part in different sports and drama activities. She has had a great interest for arts since childhood. Since age 7, Lina was also professionally involved in sports, particularly track-end-field and most of her childhood she competed at different competitions around post Soviet Union. After graduating university and working in the legal field for many years she realized that she has not lost her interest and passion for acting and decided to challenge herself in the real acting filed by going to different auditions. Within a short period of time she was able to land multiple roles and decided to continue with acting career. She is always open for new opportunities and challenges and is very excited to work on all of her upcoming projects.
