Tahria Sheather

Tahria Sheather is an Emmy-nominated Australian documentary and commercial filmmaker based in Portland, Oregon. Most recently she produced the limited series adaptation of Michael Pollan's bestselling book How To Change Your Mind, which launched on Netflix in July 2022. She often directs and produces in extreme environments, like an expedition up Mount Everest for the 2022 climbing season for an upcoming feature documentary project. Her films have played at festivals including Sundance, Tribeca, Mountainfilm and Camden and aired on Netflix, HBO and the New York Times. Her commercial work includes projects with clients like Facebook, Travel Oregon, Chaco Footwear and NoVo Foundation. She is a board member of documentary-focused non profit Treehouse Project and a Sundance Institute Fellow.
