Andrea Ngeleka was born in the city of Lubumbashi located in the Democratic Republic of Congo. She moved to Pretoria, South Africa at age 10 where she attended Loreto Convent School. At Age 14, her family immigrated to Orlando, Florida where she attended Cypress Creek High School. She moved to Los Angeles, California to attend Pasadena City College in 2016. She is a Cinema and Media Studies Major at the University of Southern California. In January 2018, Andrea became an fellow in Outfest Los Angeles' OutSet: The Young Filmmakers Project. As part of the program, she directed her first short film, Sigourney Weaver, a dark comedy about a young woman who kidnaps her girlfriend in order to save their relationship.The film premiered at Outfest Los Angeles 2018.
