Emily Heyes was born in Sydney, Australia in January of 1997. Daughter to Phil Heyes, originally from the U.K. and Linda Heyes, originally from Canada, Emily holds three international passports (U.K., Canada, and Australia). After graduating from Brigidine Collage High school, Emily was selected in the top 2% of successful submissions to attend the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts, where she completed her Acting degree. Shortly after graduating, Emily's debut lead role as 'Maddie' for 2017 feature film KICK ONS for Black94 Productions, landed her international recognition moving her career to Vancouver, Canada. She has since featured in many leading roles; Maddie in OPEN ETHNICITY pilot for Story Hive Vancouver 2019, Nicole in SWIPED Web series for Infocus productions 2019, Rose in CANCELLED CULTURE short film for Omid Pakbin productions 2020, to name a few. Emily was also featured in the 2018 Vancouver Film Festival as her lead role of Candace in the short film, SQUATS, and was awarded by ARTIST2ARTIST, best top 10 Actress of 2020.
