April Noel

April Noel was born in the suburbs of Chicago in September of 1982. The oldest of 5 children in a combined family she grow up knowing the importance of responsibility and hard work. April studied music, acting and photography in community college along with her general education classes. Acting as a career however, was discouraged by her mother; who wished April to study a trade outside the performing world. April graduated in the top percent of her class at a technical college for medical assistance. However, her love for the performing arts continued to call to her. Since the age of 18, April performed in community theatre; both straight plays and musicals throughout the Chicago suburbs. She performed a number of leading roles but became well known for her ability to play a multitude of ensemble characters within a given show, often 4-7 characters within one piece. In 2018 April was excepted into a professional improvisation troupe and in 2019 she was cast in her first off loop theatrical productions. In 2017 April began acting in front of a camera and in 2019 began acting in front of a microphone. 2020 marked her return to studying under the instructors at the Acting Studio Chicago. Through out her community college years April instructed piano until her first daughter was born in 2009. In January 2020 she returned to piano instruction, and like the rest of the world learned how teach via an internet camera when the pandemic shut down the world. April continues to teach piano as well as vocal instruction and acting work to this day. Some of April's favorite actors include Sandra Bullock, Meryl Streep, Scarlett Johansson, Katelin Stack, Harrison Ford, John Hurt, Jeff Bridges and Heath Ledger. Two roles April would love to one day portray from poplar culture would be Emma Peel and Demona.
