Mike Wietecha was born in San Jose, CA to Alan and Ester Wietecha. His father is of German and Polish descent, and his mother is Filipino. He has an older sister, Marinor, and an older brother, Cyrus. Mike grew up playing sports, practicing martial arts, and dance. It wasn't until he entered the sport of sumo wrestling that he found real success. He earned a silver medal at the 2016 United States National Championship, and represented the United States at the World Games in 2017. This led to photography and commercial projects, but he received his first movie role as a wrestling coach in the Indian film, Agadbam 2. His next film was as a sumo wrestling football player in the sports comedy, Sushi Tushi. He has since been cast in multiple short films in a diverse number of roles.
