Jabbar al Janabi

Jabbar Al Janabi is an Iraqi born Canadian visual artist who has been involved in theatre, film making, dance and writing. He is an award-winning visual artist who created a multidisciplinary- interactive arts presentations in Canada entitled "ANU" which is still shown in many Cities in Canada and abroad since 2001. He presented his art work "visual and performances" and film around the world including Jordan, Iraq, Tunisia, Sweden, Egypt Germany and more. Jabbar is also an accomplished film maker and actor who won prizes in many international festivals in Europe and Middle East and had participated in many Hollywood feature movies and series including ( Saving Hope, the A-Team and Robo Cop and the TV Drama Designated Survivor 2017) . Al Janabi's art work has been recognized by his peers, by the Cultural Affairs of the City of Vancouver, the British Columbia Arts Council, Banff Arts center and the Canada Council for the Arts. He is currently lives and works in the city of Toronto, Canada.
