Robyn Abbott

Robyn Abbott is a Canadian director, known for the post-apocalyptic drama After (2018). In addition to writing and directing the film, Robyn plays the role of Cara. Besides directing, she produced the short documentary Embers of Varanasi (2017), which was shot in Varanasi, India. The film follows individuals who have chosen to go to Varanasi on their deathbeds in hopes of passing away in the city. The film was selected to screen at the Go Independent Film Festival in LA in 2017 and NOVA fest in 2018. At NOVA fest the film was nominated for Best Documentary under 45 minutes. Other production credits include: Producer for Rodeo (2018), a film about a man searching for redemption after accidentally killing someone, as well as producing Flesh Hook Suspension (2018) a documentary which explores the flesh hook suspension scene in Montreal, Canada.
