Sophie Stapleton

Sophie Grace Stapleton was born in Denver, Colorado, USA, to Paula (Lyle) and Roger Stapleton. Her mother, now a work-at-home mom, was a special education teacher and her father was a technology engineer, entrepreneur, and is now an executive for a government contracting firm. Sophie began her journey when she was two years old, singing and pretending for family and friends. She soon began to land roles in local theater productions and has continued to perform on stage and now on camera. Her theater experience started with a role as an orphan in Annie (2009), then steadily progressed with highlight roles such as Jack in Into the Woods (2012), Jasmine in Aladdin (2014), Belle in Beauty and the Beast (2015), and Ladybug in James and the Giant Peach (2017). She has been branching out into film and television, with a recent cameo in Angels Within (2017).
