Anthony Vincent, frontman for New York band, Set the Charge, also known as the Ten Second Song Man - the man of a thousand voices - has now brought his talent to the silver screen. Born Anthony Vincent Valbiro on September 21, 1987, he has lived his whole life in Port Chester, NY. He got his start in music while in high school as the bass player for the metal band, Rot in Pain. In 2005, after the band dissolved, Anthony realized he had a talent for singing and began a new band, Set the Charge. For a while it was a two piece band with him and his older brother, Frank, who is the band's drummer. During this time Anthony was not only the singer but the guitarist and bass player as well. They were joined in 2014 by bassist Derek Ortiz and guitarist Tom Dicarlucci. They describe their style of music as diamond rock, because a diamond is rock under pressure. In addition to their band, Anthony and Frank also started Zedalza Entertainment Network (ZenLive) It's an online internet TV network that focuses on the underground alternative media and underrated independent music. They started a radio show around 2006 and moved into their current studio in 2009. Anthony also started selling songs on Fiverr, a website for freelancers to connect to customers. He sold ten second custom songs in any style, hence the name Ten Second Songs (you spell out the ten). In 2014, Anthony came up with the idea to sing Katy Perry's Dark Horse in 20 styles as a way of promoting his online business. This YouTube video went viral and he has since added many other videos to his Ten Second Song channel, not only songs in multiple styles, but also videos with a medley of songs in the style of one artist. He also has other YouTube channels: Anthony Vincent and SetTheCharge. Other videos he has produced include his own original music, covers of popular songs, songs co-written with his fans, behind the scenes of his Ten Second Songs videos, and duets with his father, who is also a talented singer. In 2016, Anthony appeared with Set the Charge on the show Breaking Band, which pairs up and coming bands with mentors from the music industry. In episode 4, they were paired with Robin Zander from Cheap Trick. Since gaining viral fame for his singing, Anthony has branched out into acting. He has had a part in The Good Doctor as a street musician. He has also had a non-speaking part as John Corabi in The Dirt, the Motley Crue biopic on Netflix.
