Chris John Brooke

Chris John Brooke is a documentary filmmaker and academic based in York, U.K. After several years in his early twenties freelancing as a camera operator Chris became involved in political activism resulting the feature documentary From York to Palestine (2006). He followed up on his own documentary work with a second feature Spoke on the Water (2007), nominated for Best Documentary and Best Original Music Score at the 2008 International Filmmaker Festival of World Cinema. In 2010 he established a production company specialising in documentary production services for high profile commercial and corporate clients. Chris is also a Senior Lecturer in Film Production and Post Production at The Northern Film School, U.K.
