Kishor Pandurang 'Belekar' (Director, Writer, Editor) A theatre enthusiast Kishor, has worked as a playwright, director, & actor for 12-13 long years and won 25 awards in a year for the one-act play "Mission Vasco De Gama" for writing & direction, including state awards, apart from audience accolades & critics' acclaim. After college, his journey began with National Award winner Mr. Ketan Mehta as an Asst. Director for the serial Captain Vyom (1998), starring Milind Soman, Rahul Bose. While more and more work kept beckoning and while each project was equally valuable, the first independent feature film as a Technical Director was "Bhiu Nakos Mi Tuzhya Pathishi Aahe" (Mythological feature film). The dream, aim and goal was however to make his first feature film as a writer, editor and director. In 2010 Kishor Belekar , wrote, directed and edited the Marathi feature film - Sa Sasucha (2010) which was released on 27th Aug 2010 all over India. Starring noted artists Sonalee Kulkarni, Sunil Barve, Vinay Apte, Yatin Karyekar and others this 'suspense thriller' was well received by the audience. This gave Kishor the energy, confidence and encouragement to make his next feature film Yeda (2013). (a psycho thriller). This psycho - thriller starring Ashutosh Rana in a lead role was Kishor's second outing as Writer, Director and Editor of a Marathi feature film. The film has a speedy and edge of the seat narrative of man obsessed with killing ! Conceived, shot and narrated in a manner that befits the aptly - Yeda, was released in April 2013 and was widely appreciated. Respect is his on going Marathi Feature Film project. And Gandhi Talks, the Silent Film is his next ambitious venture.
