Born in the Bronx, New York and classically trained at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, Jamel Lewis has embodied characters such as both "Romeo" and "Tybalt" in Romeo & Juliet, and "Jack Pinchwife" in The Country Wife. With such invaluable training, his experience in the London acting market has only strengthened his resolve in his work. Having played a crucial role in the feature film, Tide, within his first year of acting, he boasts resolute and unrivaled ambition in his pursuit of further honing his craft. During his time in Washington, D.C., he has worked with an award-winning director on multiple occasions, one of which having been one of Jamel's best known works thus far: Mumbo Jumbo. An avid practitioner of martial arts, Jamel incorporates it as well as tricking and parkour into his career when possible.
