Shelley Miller

Since she can remember, Shelley has always loved the arts...especially acting. Her very first Christmas play at church sealed the deal. The applause and praise were all it took for Shelley to catch the acting bug. A star was born! Shelley has a degree in Culinary Arts and Food Service Management from Johnson and Wales University. With acting being her first love, she went back to school to study Theater at Florida International University. In 2016 she moved to New York to pursue her career in acting. While there, she landed a lead role in a stage play and also acted in a few short films. Her time in New York allowed her to hone in on her passion to make film for black and POC actors, a calling she had to answer. Thus, in 2017, Shelley and her favorite business partner (her sister) started their production company. Although it has been quite a learning experience, the CapiSHE sisters have decided to build their own table instead of trying to sit at others. Shelley not only acts, she writes! She is the brains behind some of the many projects the duo have contrived, offering her creative ideas and stories. But don't get it twisted. She is her most creative self in front of the camera. She wants to be among amazing actors like Viola Davis, Regina King and Phylicia Rashad, just to name a few. With God on her side, she will step into a new chapter knowing He is guiding her to become the next EGOT.
