Will Scott first attempted following his dream of acting during his senior year of high school as Walter Lee Younger in the stage play "A Raisin in the Sun". His character wants to open a liquor store with money he received due to the death of his father, but his mother disagrees. After some time in the U.S. Navy and overcoming some personal challenges, Will received an opportunity to play a lead role in the short film Pit Stop. He plays a young warehouse worker, on his way home, who is trapped in a convenience store amidst a robbery and a homicide. Pit Stop was a selection of both the National Black Film Festival and the Bronze Lens Film Festival (nominated Best Actor) in 2017. Scott recently attended the premier of his feature film release, Blink, with Green Eyed Theater under the direction of writer/director Courtney Glaude. In Blink, he portrays an abusive husband while giving an intimate peek inside the mind of an abuser. In addition to acting, Will Scott has also spent three years as a stand-up comic in Dallas, TX. He has studied under and shared the stage with several local and international acts such as Paul Vargheese (HBO and Comedy Central), Shane Mauss (HBO, Showtime, Comedy Central), Mark Agee (Last Comic Standing, South by Southwest) and many more. Will Scott served in the U.S. Navy traveling to places such as Australia, Singapore and Dubai to name a few. During this time, he learned the value of teamwork, promptness, loyalty and developed a strong work ethic. He later became a bartender which lead him to develop a private bar tending service where he took great pride in ensuring the satisfaction of those he served. His greatest joy comes from being attached to a project and pouring himself into the vision of others to help make their ideas a reality. In his spare time, he enjoys chess and video games that sharpen teamwork and communication skills. In perusing his dream of acting, Will Scott is looking forward to working in the next Emmy Award winning ABC series or any project opposite Samuel L. Jackson or Bruce Willis.
