Paolo Manga is a Filipino-Canadian multi-faceted artist: actor, singer, music-producer and writer. Born and raised in the Philippines and having lived in Hong Kong and Los Angeles and half of his life in Canada, gives him a very open perspective of many different cultures In his younger years, Paolo started dabbling in the arts first and foremost with music. Being interested in singing and performing, his eagerness led him to join every possible extra-curricular clubs ranging from drama, concert bands and choirs and eventually leading on to performing as a solo-artist under the monicker of Raiel at the age of 18. This led to exposure for Paolo in the Vancouver music scene thus leading him to a solid network of like-minded individuals in the arts world. After a long streak of 13 years going on and off with music, his curiosity slowly started to lead towards acting; his music videos becoming the testing stages for his talent. His most recent work has been the role of 'Crocodile' (a character which openly embodies the intricate character and personality of Manga) in a short-film called Switch City which gained notoriety locally through Vancouver Asian Film Festival after winning Best Short Film in 2021. As well, Manga was casted as a lead for another short film named "My Mother's Home" which showcases the unspoken side of Manga's Filipino heritage and the everyday struggles of first and second generation Filipino-Canadians.
