Jonas Kærup Hjort

Jonas Kærup Hjort is a danish Film Director based in Copenhagen, Denmark. He graduated from the National Film School Of Denmark in 2017 with the acclaimed short film, "In a Month" earning him the Talent Award at Odense International Film Festival. Before being accepted to Film School, he studied TV- & Media Coordinator at the Danish School of Media and Journalism, where he was trained in both photography and editing. At Copenhagen Next he learned the craft as a Film & TV production assistant. He worked professionally as a Theatre Director and Actor, before getting into the film industry, and is classically trained in the Stanislavskij Methodology. Beside his film work he has written and directed 2 theatre plays and acted in several.
