Michael Cunningham

Michael Cunningham is a young, aspiring filmmaker, who has progressively made a name for himself as a picture editor in the Greater Toronto Area. His eye for detail, and tireless work habits show through in his written work, as well as his editing style. He challenges himself to captivate audiences and to make them think about the underlying elements of narrative. Michael graduated from high school having produced over twenty films in and outside of school and was awarded the James Cameron award for filmmaking by his instructors. His knowledge of editing software, paired with a keen eye for storytelling sets him apart from other up and coming editors. He then enrolled in the Film and Television Production course at Humber College where he crafted his storytelling skills, and discovered a happy medium between his creative and technical abilities. Humber's facilities allowed for Michael to hone his skills as an editor and colourist, giving him access to software such as Davinci Resolve and Avid Media Composer. Michael resides in Toronto, Ontario and continues to pursue his career in post-production.
