Known for Fish Head (2018) and The Marvellous World of Color and Painting (2017), Maynard Stuart Farrell is a filmmaker from the UK who has lived and worked in Brazil for 30 years. Six years ago, he stood down as managing director of his company and studied music. Following that, he took a two-year diploma course in film school - which he says was one of the best things he ever did. He fell in love with story telling and film-making. Fish Head (Peixe, Pizza & Picaretas) is his debut film.
