Myah Lipscomb

Myah Naomi Lipscomb is a Nashville, Tennessee based filmmaker and actress. She is a proud product of Tennessee State University, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with her Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science/Pre-Veterinary Medicine. While her initial intention was to become a veterinarian, she had a strong desire to pursue film and television. Myah became involved in various video production activities while in undergrad, which solidified her decision to apply to film school for her graduate studies. In December of 2017, she graduated with her Master of Fine Arts degree in Film & Creative Media from Lipscomb University in Nashville, TN. Her focus was mainly cinematography and editing, but she excelled in everything the program offered and graduated Summa Cum Laude. Myah is the Producer/Production Manager of Modern Innovation Production where she produces and manages all of our video content. She also work as a freelance cinematographer and editor for productions including commercials, documentaries, promotional videos, music videos, and short films. Additionally, Myah is the creator of an award winning comedy series, #WeirdMYAH, where she serve as the writer, producer, editor and lead actress. Through producing personal, school related, and professional projects, Myah has truly become passionate about creatively piecing various elements together into something visually unique and memorable. She has experience working with A-list talent through her work as a Talent Credentials Assistant for various BET award shows as well as through her work as the Marketing/PR Manager of Lifetime Move Network's, "A Welcome Home Christmas." Myah has a passion for creating and being apart of creating content that positively highlights women and women of color.
