He is of Russian, Polish and Jewish ancestry. At an early age, he showed a keen interest in classic film, fine art, and music. He would often reenact scenes of characters he had seen in the movies. As a teen, he played electric guitar and created fine art. He attended Bard College earning a Bachelor of Arts in Art History. Upon graduation, he worked in the contemporary art gallery business in New York. After a successful career in the art business, he moved to California. He began acting enrolling in an intensive theater class at Seydways Studios in San Francisco and then moved to Los Angeles to pursue acting full-time. He is on the verge of a very promising career within the entertainment industry.
