Jimmy Wilson

Jimmy Wilson is an actor, writer, director, and comedian based in Chicago, Illinois. Born and raised in the Ozarks, Jimmy began his acting career in the Springfield community, performing in theatre, sketch comedy, and improv productions. Upon earning a BFA in Acting from Missouri State University, Jimmy performed for professional theatre companies prior to moving to Chicago to continue his education. Jimmy is a graduate of iO improv, as well as the Comedy Writing Program and the Conservatory at Second City. He has several credits as a sketch comedy writer, director and performer, including performances at Sketchfest, The Bentwood Festival, Snubfest, and Gilda's Laugh Fest. Along with Justin Hamby, Jimmy is the co-founder/writer/producer/performer of the music comedy duo, Pure Elegance, releasing original albums and performing throughout the U.S. since 2016.
