Michael Bacon

Michael Bacon is a screenwriter living in Lenexa, Kansas. He was born in Kansas City, Missouri and raised in Sugar Creek, Missouri. Michael took his imagination and soared with it throughout his childhood knowing that writing screenplays was his goal as he became an adult. After serving in the US Navy as a postal clerk, he got his associates degree in arts and a bachelors degree in business management, then started pursuing writing films. Michael recommends reading the works of Robert McKee, Blake Snyder, Christopher Keane, Viki King, Steven Pressfield, Karl Iglesias, Linda Seger, and Michael Hauge to have a more well rounded education in screenwriting. All the tools in your toolbox are useful, but the most important is living life and keeping your eyes open to observe the mundane and extraordinary as well and the normal. Michael continues to write and create in his home office in Lenexa, Kansas.
