Jeffrey Fischer Smith is a Los Angeles area-based writer and producer working in film, theatre and television. His short film Reservations (screenwriter / producer) - based on his award-winning short play of the same name - is currently making the film festival circuit. Jeffrey's stage plays have been produced in New York City and around the USA from Washington to Georgia and California to Massachusetts. Internationally, his work has been produced in Australia, Canada, Malaysia, Mexico, and the Philippines. Jeffrey's recent accolades include the production of his play Reservations that took the top three awards at the Short + Sweet Hollywood Festival (BEST: Overall Production, Actor [Dale Raoul] and Playwright.) Jeffrey is also a published poet. He received his MFA in Writing from Spalding University and his BA from Cornell University. Currently, he is developing Smalltown Boy, the New Wave jukebox stage musical, with Julie Nichols and An American Family, a 9-play cycle that spans 100-years.
