Lacey Maloch

Lacey Maloch is a Florida native who has been writing short stories since a very young age. It was the Hollywood magic of film though that made her realize how impactful a story paired with creative vision can become. During her college career she made her first few short films to enter into the film competition, Campus Moviefest, winning Best Comedy short her first year. The following two years Lacey founded SlashHer Productions with Morgan McKinley and they placed top 16 out of over 100 films both years. Lacey has found that being able to direct most of her own visions, and turning the words she wrote into entire self contained little worlds, makes creating films even more meaningful. A few films that inspire Lacey are Zodiac, Alien, Ghostbusters and Scream.
