I am from Yorkshire, came to Birmingham in 1973 to St Peter's College, Saltley to study teacher training ( Physical Education). I taught for 35 years and am now embarking on a change of career. I am an experienced SA and actor and lucky to have met many fine people in the profession. I love to support student films are they are the filmmakers of tomorrow. I possess many regional and international accents. I am now writing screenplays from books. "In the can" are Fallen Angel and Rebellion by John Ling, Gray Justice, Trojan and Run and Hide by Alan McDermott. We need executive producers now ! Run and Hide won best TV screenplay for December 2019 in the Festigious International Film Festival in Los Angeles, won the L.A. Film Festival and was a semi finalist in San Francisco. Trojan won Best Adapted Screen play at the British Film Festival and Feature Script (Outstanding Achievement Award) at the Tokyo Festival. I have also co written Looking for Trouble based on the work of an undercover policeman in Birmingham, England in the 1980s. My script of Buried Alive? was awarded 'Outstanding Achievement Award' at the Tagore Film Festival in May 2020 and has reached the semi final of the Austin Revolutionary Film Festival (Texas). I am assistant producer for a horror franchise in America entitled Carnival. My hobbies are golf, football, cricket, keeping fit, reading, crosswords and the cinema.
