Osman Aboubakr

Osman Aboubakr is a Canadian actor who, after decades of doing independent theater and short films, made his feature film debut in the film 'Musk' (2018) directed by Humaid Alsuwaidi. This led to a supporting role in Humaid Alsuwaidi's follow-up film 'Dalma' (2022). Osman is also a voice actor, he is Fadi, the washed up YouTube star turned pod-caster in Finyal Media's award winning Arabic language fiction meta-podcast: The Basement (2020). Osman was born in Cairo, Egypt and immigrated to Canada at 13 with his family. Along side acting, he is a lawyer, a husband and a father. Osman co-founded Argentum Law, a global legal industry disrupter. He is married to an amazing woman and has three children, two of whom are twins. Osman has lived in Cairo, Toronto, Montreal, London, and Dubai with a brief stint in Geneva when he was interning with the United Nations Environment Programme.
