Arya Landers was born Darya Dasha Chrenowski, on April 18th in Ottawa, Ontario, to Anna Borowik, a medical equipment sterilization specialist, and Anatoli Chrenowski, a computer programmer. She is of Russian descent and is recognized by her iconic blue eyes. Arya spent her early years growing up in Montreal, Quebec with her maternal grandparents, until she moved with her parents to Gatineau, Quebec. A few years thereafter, the family moved to Ottawa, Ontario, where they settled and still lived today. Arya Landers is based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Arya first became interested in acting during her first year of high school, where she played the dubious character of Rosencrantz in Shakespere's Hamlet. She then competed in the 2014 Ottawa University's Shakespeare Competition, where she performed a monologue of Viola's from Shakespeare's Twelfth Night. Following the competition, Arya also appeared in a national PSA. Upon graduation, she then attended York University, and pursued a B.F.A in Theater. Her role as Sabah in Evolution Dance Theatre's 2016 production of Follow Your Heart, directed by Jabbar Al Jabani, thrust her into the professional world of theater and film.
