Dior Clarke was brought up in a family of four by his mother Melanie Clarke, born and raised in North London, England. Dior attended Highgate Wood Art College, where his love for dance and passion for acting begun. After leaving sixth form age 18, he went onto do a foundation course at London School of Dramatic Arts, where he received a careers development loan to help him fund his studies. Shortly after graduating he became a member of The National Youth Theater. Dior worked at various London theaters and bars to support himself. Meanwhile trying to land an agent, he was lucky when an agent scouted him at work. Against all odds, he built himself a career in the art world staring in legendary music videos his favorite being 'David Bowie - No Plan' as well as various theater productions at venues like the Royal Court Theater. In 2018 Dior Co-Wrote, Co-Directed and acted the lead in 'Batty Boy' a film on Sky Arts. Still wanting to build upon his craft he auditioned for Drama Schools to study a BA in acting. On his fifth year of auditioning he was offered a Place on an MA in Professional Acting course at The Academy of Live Recording Arts granted with a Dance and Drama Award. Dior continues to tell the stories we never see like Batty Boy and create work to inspire people. He believes, the discovery of a performer never ends.
