Justin Paul Ramirez grew up in perennially sunny Southern California. From a young age Justin enjoyed the arts. Growing up in the Catholic School / College Prep system, however, he wasn't encouraged to pursue artistic passions. It wasn't until he fell in love with literature that he saw potential in his passion. As Justin journeyed down a path of literary studies he came across "The Catcher in the Rye" and it changed everything. Justin's passion for literature never waned but when he realized movies can have similar emotional impacts he switched gears. And when I saw Wes Anderson's "The Darjeeling Limited" a year later I was hooked. Fast forward a couple years and Justin began interning at a small TV Production Company in Orange County. That Summer, Justin finally got first hand exposure what it was like to be on a film set, and what it took to make a show. Once Justin completed a two year film program in Orange County he moved to New York City where he got his start working in various capacities on professional film sets. Starting as a production assistant he eventually became a Director & Cinematographer for commercials, music videos and his own short films. Justin's good-natured personality, strong work ethic and focused motivation makes him an asset to any production or creative team. Not only does Justin write and direct, but he also acts. From an early age Justin would often be cast as the lead in school plays and performances. Once sports began dominating his life Justin let acting fall by the wayside. But after watching 'The Dead Poets Society' Justin immediately auditioned for the Spring Musical and was cast as a lead singer and dancer. In college Justin also played Don Pedro in Boston University Shakespeare Society's interpretation of 'Much Ado About Nothing.'
